Dr. Nicholas X. Samuels

Dr. Nicholas Samuels is the Co-Founder of Total Development Institute and an Apostle, Christian leader, author, and visionary dedicated to spiritual growth, identity development, and purposeful living.

Dr. Samuels brings a strong foundation in ministry, teaching, and leadership development. He is the founder and faith leader behind Shofar of Zion Ministries, where he has faithfully championed biblical teaching, prayer, spiritual formation, and the call to walk in alignment with one’s identity in Christ. His ministry work centers on equipping individuals and families to deepen their faith, discern God’s voice, and live with clarity and intention through life’s challenges.

Through teaching, writing, mentorship, and apostolic leadership, Dr. Samuels provides spiritual guidance that complements TDI’s counseling and wellness services. His voice brings biblical grounding, wisdom, and spiritual depth to the institute’s mission, ensuring that spiritual development is honored alongside emotional and personal growth.

Together with his wife, Dr. Samuels co-leads Total Development Institute with a shared commitment to transformation, healing, and purpose-driven living.
