I didn’t create Crowned & BECOMING from theory alone.
I created it from lived experience.
There came a season when I no longer recognized myself. My emotions felt unpredictable. My thoughts raced. My patience was thin, and my clarity was fading. I was doing everything I had always done to manage stress and stay grounded, yet nothing seemed to bring lasting peace.
As a counselor and wellness professional, I understood what should help. But as a woman navigating perimenopause, I realized that knowledge alone was not enough. My body was responding differently. My nervous system was overwhelmed. My spirit felt weary.
What challenged me most was not the physical changes, it was the emotional and mental toll. The irritability, anxiety, brain fog, and sense of disconnect felt foreign and frightening. And in faith-based spaces, I struggled to find language that honored both the biology of this season and the spiritual questions it raised.
Through prayer, study, and intentional healing work, I began to see what was really happening. Years of carrying responsibility, pressure, and strength had trained my body to stay in survival mode. As hormonal shifts occurred, my ability to regulate stress weakened. The issue was not a lack of discipline or faith, it was a dysregulated mind-body system.
When I began focusing on nervous system regulation, emotional renewal, and mind-body integration, while staying anchored in my faith, something shifted. Calm returned. Clarity followed. I began to feel like myself again, not by going backward, but by becoming more whole.
Crowned & BECOMING was born from that transformation.
This work exists to ensure that women in this season do not walk alone, confused, or ashamed. You are not broken. You are not failing. And you are not losing who you are.
You are crowned.
And you are becoming.
